Xi 'an CRRC Yongdian Electric Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, manufacturing, sales and service of power electronic devices and devices. In 2009, Xi 'an Yongdian Company built a high-voltage and high-power IGBT packaging production line in Xi 'an. Xi 'an Yongdian Company has basically mastered the design, packaging, manufacturing and testing technology of high-voltage and high-power IGBT module, and established a more complete IGBT module design, packaging and testing platform.

In November 2010, the first 6500V grade IGBT module in China successfully rolled off the line in Xi 'an Yongdian Company, marking that Xi 'an Yongdian Company became the first in China and the fourth manufacturer in the world with this technology and products.

In 2011, Xi 'an Yongyan Company undertook the project of "R&D and industrialization of high-voltage and high-power IGBT module packaging design and manufacturing platform" in the 02 special plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and established a serialized IGBT module packaging design, manufacturing and testing platform for domestic and foreign chips. In the same year, the 6500V/600A, 3300V/1200A, 1700V/1200A three products developed by Xi 'an Yongdian Company passed the new product and new technology appraisal organized by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology in 2011, and the technical parameters of the three products as a whole reached the international advanced level. Among them, the 6500V/600A product index has reached the domestic leading level. 6500V/600AIGBT modules have passed the FAI certification of the Ministry of Railways, and more than 20,000 vehicles have been installed.

In 2013, Xi 'an Yongdian held 3300V IGBT device identification ceremony, which is the first time in China to achieve high-power IGBT chip design, chip manufacturing and IGBT device packaging, with complete independent intellectual property rights, and thoroughly master the "Chinese core" of IGBT. 3300V high-power IGBT is widely used in rail transit and other fields, and is the core key component of high-speed EMU and high-power locomotive.

In 2015, CRRC Yongji Motor released a 6500V/200A high voltage and high power IGBT module with fully independent intellectual property rights. The module adopts the form of welding to realize multiple domestic IGBT chips and FRD chips in parallel, completing the integrated modular package design of "China Core" 6500V/200AIGBT. It replaces the use of similar foreign products in subway and railway locomotive converters.

At present, Xi 'an Yongdian Company has developed and produced more than 50 kinds of IGBT products, the product current range covers: 50A-3600A, the voltage range covers: 600V-6500V, the product size and electrode interface are consistent with international similar products, the product performance indicators reach international similar products, can replace imports. Xi 'an Yongdian Company's IGBT products are now used in all walks of life such as national defense science and industry, rail transit, wind power generation, etc., and have been praised by users.
