- Medium voltage frequency converters generally refer to frequency converters with voltages ranging from 660V to 690V and 1140V. At present, medium voltage frequency converters are applied in urban water supply, submersible electric pumps, water injection pumps, and knocking machines in oil fields, as well as main shaft fans, belt conveyors, and coal mining machines (explosion-proof) in coal mines, and have achieved good economic and social benefits.
- High voltage frequency converter generally refers to a frequency converter with a voltage greater than 1140V. At present, pump loads widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, electricity, municipal water supply, and mining account for about 40% of the total energy consumption of electrical equipment, and electricity bills even account for 50% of the water production cost in water plants. This is because, on the one hand, there is usually a certain margin left in the design of equipment; On the other hand, due to changes in operating conditions, the pump needs to output different flow rates. With the development of market economy and automation, as well as the improvement of intelligence, the use of high-voltage frequency converters for speed control of pump loads is not only beneficial for improving processes and product quality, but also a requirement for energy conservation and equipment economic operation, and is an inevitable trend for sustainable development.
